Now, one really annoying thing about trying to delve into statistics about crime is that colloquial terminology might not mesh with legal terminology. The page I linked is for Robbery, which is taking property under the threat of force or by force, and when it happens in the home it's a "home invasion." What is a lot more common though are "hot burglaries" where the house was thought to be empty until the home owner confronts the would-be burglars and they book it.
