Homeschooling in Morocco?

Children aged 4 to 16 must be in school. The law doesn't make a distinction between Moroccan and non-citizen children, but it also isn't clear from the law that this must be traditional schooling.

Some Moroccan parents started using distance learning when the pandemic started and have never gone back to the traditional system. I'm not aware of anyone who has had any legal issues as a result. I know many expats have used these services for years to homeschool their children as well. CNED is the French education public provider for distance learning and probably the most popular option here for children learning at home. Private French distance learning providers include the Hattemer Academy, Ker Lann and Cours PI. FWB (EAD) is the Belgian provider and used by some Moroccan parents as well. There are American services as well (Calvert, Keystone) but they're less popular because of their higher cost and I think mostly used by expats.
