I made a half-batch of brownies with a quarter pound of hash mixed in. I had the day off work, so I ate one for breakfast. By mid-morning I had the munchies and I ate the rest of the brownies. Then I wandered over to the local record store and was browsing new releases when a couple of friends came in on their lunch hour.

They came up to me laughing and asking what I'd done, saying that my eyes were an intense glowing red. So I told them about the brownie for breakfast and the munchies and the rest of the brownies and the quarter pound of Lebanese hash. They insisted on walking me home before they went back to work.

They called from the office hourly that afternoon to make sure I was OK. At one point I told them I'd just won a Joe Walsh album for answering a trivia question on KADI-96, and they told me I was insane because only a crazy man would remember that trivia in my condition.
