Host said he would sue me and retract refund?

To go more into detail, I took his initial suggestion and tried rebooking a flight. I needed to take another Covid test and unfortunately tested positive. He suggested I contact Bnb and use their policy because he wouldn’t offer any refund. Fair. I went with Bnb, they said the policy is no longer place. However, we will get you a refund from the host. They came back to me and essentially said “here’s 50%.” I never contacted the host on my behalf. If he did authorize, it must’ve been pressure from Airbnb support. I’m saying he’s not wrong in any way other way than his abusive messages. This is a super host in the heart of a major city, with nearly 30 listings and 1k reviews. I don’t know about you, but I wouldn’t want someone like this on the Airbnb platform. How is it acceptable in any context to reply with “I don’t need to talk to you” after asking for some sort of reimbursement? Yes, he’s completely within his rights, but for what Airbnb stands for as a “community building” roomshare app that builds connections with random strangers…. He shouldn’t be a super host.
