While we offer tasteful hand crafted beachy items for our ocean front properties, I've seen some cheap crappy decor that you can tell was purchased by non local owners who just threw anything and everything together. It's almost comical but the sad truth is some people crave the "beachy decor" and they will complain if you don't throw a little cheap beach decor in.

We have lots of local stores that cater to the non local STVR owners with lots of the same kitchy cheap taste. I recently started helping a neighbor from NY in our southern beach town who's paid a nice fee of $32,000 for a shitty uneducated decorator to furnish her NC beach condo with an upscale NYC loft decor. As ai told her to expect, she's getting crappy reviews bc some guests want that vibe.

As a word to the wise, don't listen to any trolls like u/nc.... They are one of the most downvoted trolls here and if they can't take the time to create a a quality SN, they certainly can't be taken seriously in any reasonable discussions.
