My husband is a Spaniard! I think they are the best. I mean you have good and bad people everywhere but I find Spanish people to be very humble, dedicated to family & hard working.

One thing that was different culture wise is they don’t have a dating culture per se. Where I come from dating is pretty formal till you are officially a couple. The guy will plan, ask you and pay for dates for the first six months and then ask you to be his girlfriend. I feel like in Spain you just hang out with someone continuously and it’s understood you are together. Things are also more equal. It’s not expected for the guy to pay for everything in the beginning.
