How can I reconnect with my Spanish heritage?

If you're comfortable doing something like 23andme (or similar), the ancestry breakdown will tell you about the specific province(s) your ancestors came from, and you'll also see the surnames and percent relatedness of others to you, you can even message people and ask questions or just say hi, it's pretty fun and makes you feel connected to your roots.

Learning the language teaches you a lot about the culture, you should consider it (doesnt have to be to full proficiency). I expect you can already read it a bit, and it only took me a few months, as a French speaker, to be able to understand it enough to watch shows and movies, I think you can do this with pretty low effort just by watching series with subtitles
