How can I get into a high paid postion quickly with a business degree?

The type of money I was making is rare because it was a well funded startup and they had money to blow. Insurance sales in general you can definitely make that type of bank if you're good, but usually they like you said are commission only roles. So in a lot of insurance roles you have to ramp up your own business and that type of income I mentioned monthly is further away. Sales in general is about confidence. Calm, collective, and mildly aggressive confidence. Being polite, not being rude, and actively listening. Getting a job in sales is easier then staying in the one you got for along time. You don't have to have a degree and plenty of sales people are successful with minimal education, but I would finish whatever degree you are working on for sure if you can. It will get your foot in the door in more professional sales environments, like recruiting sales for example.

Insurance sales such as the big life insurance companies hound consumers for business but they churn through a lot of employees, so it's a bit of a gamble. Auto insurance sales might be a road to go if you really want insurance, since they're a bit more friendly to employees IMO. But don't take my word as yours, do what feels right for yourself. Sales in general you can just post your resume everywhere you reasonably see fit online. Also be kind but confident and network in person as much as you can. Usually if you have a good conversation with someone, most all companies need sales people. Just be motivated. Motivation is the big thing missing allot in sales. It's there when people get hired, but keeping yourself motivated makes you unique.
