My thought is that neither of you are emotionally mature enough to be in a romantic relationship. There’s no trust, no ability to work on solving problems and retaliation rather than communication.

Instead of bickering, you should have confronted her about her discomfort about lending you money. This is an opportunity to work through a problem or get to know/love each other on a deeper level. Neither of you decided to work through a minor issue and instead chose to be petty and now it’s blowing up into something way bigger.

Also, this is kind of a shitty question for an “ask women” sub. Your girlfriend isn’t some magical unicorn that only women can understand. She’s a person. You know her better than us.

TLDR; both of you need honest and get to the root of the issue.
