How Did Living in China Change My View of the USA?

Yeah, your perspective on this topic definitely depends where you're from as the US is a big place and not everywhere is like California or the mid west or wherever this guy is from and tons of places are just as bad off or worse than China...

What I do miss about the States is how educated people are (I mean education as in how to treat others). Not long ago I was visiting friends, and was in the store in line and this ghetto black guy was behind me, gold teeth, pants down to his knees, the whole bit. Anyways, he bumped into me in line. I turned around and I'm so used to people bumping into me after 10 years in the developing world I don't care anymore. The guy looked at me and said "my fault bra", and in places like Mexico, Brazil, etc people would never say that, they'd just pretend it didn't happen. He kind of restored my faith in humanity, and I smiled and looked back and said "hey man! don't worry about it friend really it's no problem but I appreciate your apology!" and he squinted his eyes and looked away shaking his head and said "weird ass white boy..." but yeah even a lot of the lower class in the States has basic human interaction skills lacking in most of the world. They don't instinctively cut in line, etc and that's nice to see and I do miss that about the States.

Apart from that I miss nothing about the States.
