I hear you, but the reality is that the password sharing is definitely a revenue loss for them, I totally get it.   While I don’t agree with the methods they are suggesting (at all), how else should they manage this? only allow one concurrent viewing at a time, but allow it from anywhere?

They probably did the math and thought they are going to lose some subscribers but roll gain some others who will true-up and start legitimately paying for an account.

And those that lost shared access and don’t subscribe? Who cares, they aren’t a loss anyway.

Not saying it’s right, but I get why they are sick of non-paying customers eating up resources.
