Tldr: don't try to get nudes then get pissed/make threats when it doesn't work.

Not my friend, but someone I know.

She got a text from a friend of hers, saying he was pent up and asked for nudes/dirty talk.

She refused. She's married, has kids. He has kids and a significant other (don't know if they're married or not)

He apparently JUST realizes that what he did was stupid, asks her not to tell anyone.

Well she's going to tell her husband obviously, but she knows he's having relationship issues so is torn.

So he starts getting defensive, and is trying to guilt trip her into staying quiet. "I'll lose my family, never see my kid again"

And then gets shitty, bringing up her past relationship issues. Makes threats.

So she sends screenshot of the texts to his SO.

She's furious, leaves him, takes the kid and goes to her parents.

He's pissed, gets drunk, shows up at my friends house one night starts pounding on the door yelling about how she ruined his life and she needs to pay for it.

Her husband opens the door and tells him to fuck off, he's already called the cops.

Dude throws a punch at my friend, who I'm surprised didn't beat him to death in response.

Police are called, show up and the guy is unconscious. Apparently he fall back when shoved and hit his head on the sidewalk.

He's now got two restraining orders, one from my friend and her family, one from his ex since he kept harassing her and borderline stalking.

He spent two months in jail, and could face more if he breaks the restraining orders.

My friend now has a concealed carry license,and takes self defense classes just in case. She had been considering it but this was the final push to do so.
