You can assume the amount of credits you have from any college courses you have taken previously, as well as AP scores. Just tally them up and you should have a general idea as to how many credits you are starting out with. AP Chem is a huge plus for life science students because scoring at least a 4 on that exam places you into a higher-level chemistry that finishes faster than the regular chem. I probably shouldn't have mentioned the 3rd point, but I only said it because I only know of it happening to someone else I knew. Being behind the curriculum, (that is to say, by scoring low on the math placement exam) could have the potential of not placing you into Gen Chem I the fall semester, however, if you at least score a 3 (which places you in pre-calc) you are fine.
