How to end the American obsession with driving - To fight climate change, cities need to be designed with much more walking, biking, and public transit use in mind.

Well one - sorry - i had not paid close enough attention and the threads were so similar i had assumed this was another comment strain talking about stuff. But my opinion still holds strong that "making it as difficult as possible" to drive your car so you choose public transport is not the answer. Making things as difficult as possible to drive a car is not the same thing as just making alternatives better, at all. Thats like making things so shitty you shift the lesser of two evils instead of fixing the problem. Im 100% down with making other options better options than cars. My whole point is dont force them by making other things shitty. Make the other things better for change. Kinda like.... we shouldnt have to pick a president based on the other presidential candidate being so horrible its a lesser of two evils... give us a good candidate.
