Well I play with mods. With the use of MCCC I make some of the lifespans like beyond 300 days, sometimes push it to 1000 when it comes to elders.

Ive been playing with the same save for at least 4 years now. Which has caused me to deal with the usual factor of all the OG townies dying. The easiest way to deal with that is either downloading the original versions of them from the gallery, or you can download new versions of them that are well done without mods nor CC.

What I prefer to do is to only bring back my favorite townies. Since I’ve been playing on this save for so long, I went through the long process of renewing whole worlds lot wise and adding in personally made households that have a lot their own storyline. And further add on to my own storyline, as my main sims interact with the newly made townies.

Also, I don’t play with one household at a time, I have a favorite household that I care the most for, but I switch between households, coz my gameplay is kind of a legacy one. But it’s centered around old money and new money families that have an intense rivalry amongst each other. I have 5 main families in this bloodline and riches rivalry, every family has their own issues, one of the families’ empires is rising and some are crumbling due to drama, lack of compliance from the younger generations, and one of the fathers being busted due to being a drug lord.

However my storyline took a lot of work, I’m sure you can find one that consists of less effort.
