You either are a Christian... or you aren't. Removing ones who don't live in acceptable ways is how God keeps his congregation clean from things that could be used against them. That's why people are SUPPOSED to be removed for sins instead of all of God's teachings because someone covered up something bad (and then it looks like that's acceptable to God; just that they didn't want to look bad). So when someone says to God's organization: "He molested that child!" (or something bad/unchristian) God's people can say: "He is not one of us, and his actions are not okay with us or with God." There are certain things Christians don't do (simply by definition). Once someone gets to know what God requires of us and you decide to live your life in a way that angers/disappoints him, you are no longer a Christian. It's just that simple. If YOU decide not to be a Jehovah's Witness or you decide that you don't care what God thinks or wants, then talk to your brother. But everyone has a choice to make. Your brother made his choice...either out of the weakness of his imperfect body, or by conscious choice. He is always welcome to come to meetings and be accepted again if he lives his life the way God commands and leaves those sinful ways behind. If your brother believes in what God says, he'll choose YOU by coming back to God's ways. If you talk to HIM before that happens, you have shown that others come before God's will. No hate whatever you do. People often act like they're innocent or haven't taken a stand either way.That ticls me off.... But life sucks sometimes, I'll be real. It'd be easier not to know things sometimes than to have to work harder to do the right things. Everyone has to do what they believe is right. Fpr me, I trust God knows what he's doing instead of trusting in my own personal feelings on certain matters. I'll end with this...if you talk to your brother unneccessarily before he gets his life together (as a Christian) it will probably stop him from returning to a way of life God approves of. Just think about it.
