How would $10,000 affect your life right now?

Currently living in a house that is about to fall down because of damp/black mould, all of my electronics (gaming PC, RGB keyboard, £1.5k MacBook Pro) have failed/ are currently failing because of the moisture in the house.

We are moving out ASAP and have just found our dream house but the deposit is £1000 and we don’t have the money until the 24th of December (because of monthly pay from work) so we are stuck in this crappy house until then.

The 10k would seriously just go on moving out of this house before it kills us, either financially or otherwise. I would move into that house we love tomorrow and I would probably spend the rest of the money on making it a nice home for the future of my family. (My girlfriend and I are only 21 but she deserves better than this awful house we are in and I can’t wait until I get paid and can move us away from here forever.
