Hugboxing...

I've seen that study. It was made by a clinic.

If you look in the comments I've posted 2 links to 2 separate studies... I agree it's a limited bit of science but there's a reality here, people's perception of gender is decided in an instant and its not conscious.

Those that say 'some women have strong jaws' are being fucking disingenuous.

Both T and E change the way fat is stored,

That's a gross oversimplification of what they do and much of the effects of testosterone are much more long term.

Muscle growth is much more rapid than muscle loss and I'm not just talking biceps and shoulders here, I'm talking facial muscles and connective tissue that help create a more masculine appearance or the affects of DHT on the hairline or facial hair, voice or the visibility of the Adams apple... all strong gender cues btw.

Estrogen can take years to undo these changes if it does at all and in some case, it simply can't which is why we need tracheal shaves and laser hair removal.

And I don't plan to socially transition until I'm sure I'll pass, which is gonna be probably 1-2 years

So I'm giving you now a correct advice:

I'll be honest, depending on where you are now, hormones may never be enough, that's the correct advice...

I've got a lot of feminine attributes, I'm 5'5", small hands, small feet, wider than average hips for an AMAB, only experienced mild changes to my facial structure throughout puberty, my brow bone is tiny for example but the reality is, the small, permanent changes it did make are now clearly too much for any ammount of hormones to ever cover up.

You trusted the hugboxing because you wanted to believe it.

Maybe so, doesn't mean I can't point out the ramifications now I know the truth... I'm not the only one who 'wanted to believe' and if that is the case, I certainly wasn't conscious of it at the time.
