What video game made you feel so empty after you played it?

Fallout New Vegas

Got told over and over again how it was supposed be a night and day better game than fallout 3, that choices really felt like they mattered and the story is 2nd to none and it has so much replayability.

Tried so many times to play it,.got bored, at least 10 times over the course of a few years but I persisted through it and ended up completing it last year and afterwards thought, "what was the big deal?"

I mean it was ok, but it was never anywhere near as good as I was told by friends and the general gaming community and still hold fallout 3 as my favourite overall.

I never liked the fact that the main part of your choices results were mainly shown at the end of the games cutscene. I much rather prefer games like mass effect where the majority of choices have noticeable consequences straight away or at least early on. I didn't like having to slog through the entire game to see the consequences in new Vegas, plus I couldn't stand the campyness, "cowboy(?)" Accents and one of the worst dlc's I've ever experienced: Dead money
