A huge giveaway!

Thanks for the chance! I would love to have The Division.

All I have to say is that this game is made up of what I love; a MMORPG and a shooter.

RPG Genre

RPGs are one of my favourite genres in games. The ability to immerse yourself into the game is what keeps me hooked into such games, and I believe the Division strongly has what it takes to get me hooked. While the story seems pretty average, the gameplay is where I, and everyone else I believe, am interested in. Collecting loot of different rarity in such a game and levelling up your attributes and becoming stronger and being able to take on tougher mobs of enemies is what I love about RPGs. Borderlands, Torchlight, Titan Quest and Dragon Age: Inquisition (Free Multiplayer Trial lol) were games where I had tons of fun trying to improve my character and make him even more badass, allowing me to easily take out monsters that I once had a trouble with thanks to my Purple or Orange rarity items and my sick skills. Now take that and place them into a modern day setting and you have got yourself some good shit right there. Getting Legendary weapons that you're familiar with, or at least supposedly. (I mean, what's a Caduceus?) Using your weapons and awesome skills such as that Turret, which I believe majority of the people will use, as well as that portable cover will allow me to effectively fight and take out those Cleaners and their awesome flamethrowers. Now those flamethrowers are more suited to being Legendary weapon and I really hope I can loot them off the Cleaners. Asides from weapons, there are also cosmetic items such as beanies which provide additional stats and greater customization for your own personnel character, giving you a greater sense of immersion. Just like how getting a Rare Helm or a Legendary armour in any other RPG, seeing your own character don that new gear in addition to that new gun you just looted or crafted allows you to get a sense of satisfaction and accomplishment, seeing that new gear on your character. Personally though, from the videos I’ve seen, I do hope they add more varieties to the cosmetic side of the loot. While there is a decent amount of clothing, I believe Ubisoft still has quite a number of outfits to choose from. Different Special Forces gear could be cool. Imagine finding the Ghost Recon Phantoms outfit such as this That would be so fucking cool. Naturally, something this badass has to be Legendary haha. Or imagine wearing a business suit in the Dark Zone. While I get that Ubisoft wants to portray a realistic game, I believe such cosmetic items would be a definite plus to their game. With the addition of the new patch, gear sets have been added. While I’m glad that such a thing has been implemented, the design of the sets still look to bland. Compared to something like Diablo 3’s Armor Set which has a matching colour scheme and unique design to make it stand out from the many other armor. Having a gear set like this Splinter Cell Shadow Armor would have made it so much more cooler or like the Ghost Recon Assassin’s Creed armor. Perhaps not as realistic but cool as hell. They have also added a trading function to the game but I feel it still has room for improvement. Just dropping it shouldn’t be the right way. It needs to have its own trade window and such. Having a time limit also doesn’t make sense. Trading should also be available to all, not just your party members. Perhaps in the future it would be improved but at the least, there is now a trading option available so I can trade with my friend if they found a gold weapon that I am interested in. There is also a survival aspect to this game much like those survival games such as DayZ or H1Z1. It adds a deeper feel of immersion for players by allowing them to try and fight for their own survival, not just against enemies but against our own needs such as hunger. Compared to games such as Torchlight, where you're basically a walking killing machine, The Division has a greater sense of realism to the game. While I believe it won't be such a huge component in the game, nevertheless it is one I'm thankful for as it allows me to be more engaged with the world of The Division.

Shooter Genre

Shooters are also a genre I enjoy very much. In fact, I play shooters quite a fair bit. I've played competitive games such as CS:GO, BF3, Titanfall while also enjoying games like Borderlands, Far Cry and Dead Space. No Call of Duty though, I stopped with Modern Warfare (•_•) I loved shooters because it’s a genre that has the best real time combat system. Rather press Right-Click to swing your sword, shooters allow players to actively control attacks, making it that much more fun and immersive to me. As such, I believe The Division, combined with the RPG elements is a recipe for fun. I loved Borderlands 2. An FPS with RPG elements. It was one of the best game I played, being able to get better guns was always a blast, and combine that with shooter elements, allow me to actually feel how much more powerful my weapon was compared to a sword that has a same swing animation but just with a different colour slash. Imagine pick up an attachment such as a foregrip for your M16 in The Division which greatly reduces recoil or an attachment that increases your fire rate, you would be able to feel the improvement of your weapon and appreciate the loot to a better extend. Perhaps that was why I loved, Borderlands. It did have millions of randomly generated guns, so getting a gun with great stats and testing it out on Psychos was always a blast. Although there have been complaints about how enemies in The Division are bullet sponges, I feel that is only to be expected in a RPG game such as this. If all enemies could realistically be taken down in a one shot headshot, there wouldn’t be a need much of a need for the loot system, trying to find better guns and such. As such, finding or crafting an even more powerful gun and seeing your DPS increase would give you a sense of gratification when you take down that pesky boss or kill those damn Rogue Agents in the Dark Zone.
