My good friend's wife (who is really dope, despite her upbringing) had this issue. For days her mom was helicoptering and just being frustrating to be around leading up to the wedding day. Day of the wedding comes, she's yelling, insulting people, cursing, etc. I was there to witness it, total momzilla.

Buddy's wife had one of the groomsmen who the mom liked get her, bring her to the brides room, sat her down in front of the bride who literally just said "Mom. I need you to chill the fuck out and shut the fuck up." After that happened, I didn't hear a peep out of her and wondered what happened till the groomsman (who was one of our mutual friends) told me. Absolutely hilarious.
