If God is truly everything that exists in any form whatsoever, what in the world could God want or need or require?

No. 'Churches' want money and time from us, not God. Religious leaders have emotions and 'wants', not God.

I think true God is more like Childlike-Empress from the 'Never Ending Story'. The empress created the whole Fantastica but doesn't interfere the creatures' lives. She lets them be, accepts them as they are, that's why all the creatures in the Fanatastica respect her.

She is the start of all the stories, not the manipulator. I think she is more like the Source, where our energy and spirit come from.

But I think there are also lesser god-like entities, for example Greek myth. I think they actually existed, they might've been some genetically better humans or giant aliens who had great abilities. Well, in that case most Gods in human history would've been just some powerful aliens or evolved humans.
