Of course not. But they provided the atmosphere where criminal activity took place and where prosecution of the criminals was difficult.

What these men are doing is domestic terrorism.

It fits the FBI definition. I don't like to use "terrorist" for groups like this, or for BLM. I'd prefer to save that for people like Dylan Roof. I like the Merriam Webster definition more. Terrorism is about trying to intimidate citizens into fear of opposing the terrorists. These people aren't really intimidating anyone that I've seen. They've made no real threats against other citizens. So it seems like a reach.

No. They have not done this. And this is exactly why they're not being met with armored personnel carriers and snipers and stuff. Just having a gun doesn't demonstrate that you're willing to die or kill. These guys are already begging for food for crying out loud. This isn't a serious attempt at insurrection, it's a media stunt by a bunch of morons.

But the lack of action by law enforcement and the "they're not hurting anyone" response many people have is a double standard.

But it really is disheartening as "minority" to witness something so obvious that others will vehemently claim does not exist.

While I'm sure that's generally disheartening, here I think it's more about demonstrable problems with the comparison than that white people just don't see this issue as clearly as you do. If these guys fire at police or attack civilians or burn down the nature center or anything like that and aren't met with incredible force, I'll be the first to apologize.
