Let me back up. Yes, the brain is biological and everything from habits, thought patterns, experiences/traumas/etc, change the shape of the brain. This alters our psychological processes from everything from perception, urges, attitudes, stereotypes, to the way we approach mathematics, problem solving, etc, etc, etc.
I misspoke, as you’ve rightfully pointed out.
What I intend to mean, is that autonomic biological functions are generally separate from one’s behavior and mental process.
For example, you can think, believe, and process information in a way that the body does not align with. I am a man, I cannot get pregnant no matter how much I believe I can. If my body produces black hair as a result of my genetics, my body produces black hair regardless of how much I believe I only produce and should produce red hair.
