I'm [26F] hesitant to move in with my boyfriend [29M] because of my parents[60s], among other things.

He was really angry and told me I was basically screwing him over because he probably wouldn't be able to afford a place because he is planning on starting college when he comes down here.

Ehm...what about a flatshare?

He is upset because he says he is uprooting his whole life for me and I'm not even committed enough to live with him. I definitely get where he is coming from, but I am 100% committed and want to live with him and marry him someday. I'm just worried we are jumping the gun.

My bf and I have been doing long distance internationally for 2.5 years, dating for a bit longer than that. We still have another year to go. We'll move in together directly when I move over, but just because we've lived together in the past and we've never had any issues. If we had arguments or other problems, we wouldn't jump in immediately, but get separate places and date normally.
