I'm a partner at a second-tier (top ten) firm. AMA

Thanks for your reply. I can handle 60 hours for a few months, just not all year and as long as there is flexibility in when I work the hours. E.g. if I have to attend to my obligations from 5-8 and then work again from 8- whatever necessary. I did look at second tier firms and the starting pay is higher but the one I looked at wasn't able to offer the continuous education resources that the big 4 has. Here I have access to more training than I could ever complete. My original plan was to get the Big 4 internship on my resume and move on but I actually have really enjoyed it. I think I found something I'm truly passionate about but am just concerned if I can make it work. How do you think the current labor conditions and economy in general will impact pay over the next few years?
