I'm really worried this game will not make it and NCSoft will pull the plug.

Good, I hope it does. Developers like Carbine don't deserve success.

Long story short, this game has had innumerable problems since Winter Beta 2013. Thousands of us in CBT gave essays of feedback on the game. There were so many things that needed to be taken care of and fine tuned. They were getting hundreds of thousands of man hours in QA for free for half a year. 40 mans were stupid and ambitious but far from the most stupid thing in the game. The endgame design was horrible and we all knew it. It needed massive restructuring. Paths were useless and we all knew it. The UI, abilities, combat, mob behaviours and quests were bugging everywhere. People were spamming threads begging for some acknowledgement.

Yet it didn't matter. Carbine revamped the game so many times from it's core and NCSoft was sick of waiting after 9 years. They said you're putting this out now. And what happens?

For the open beta of WildStar in June 2014, they completely revamped the UI two weeks before release. Oh, okay. Now all the shit you've collected feedback for the last 6 months hasn't been acknowledeged or implemented or even looked at, plus you took the horrible UI and made an even worse UI with 10% of the QA and polish and now the game is littered with even more issues since the optimization is terrible due to the horrible addon intergration.

Game launches. Problems everywhere. Not just with servers, but with basic software functionality. People with AMD can't even play the game. Endgame pacing and structure is shit. Getting vet dungeon silvers for attunement is way too hard for 99% of MMO genre playing community. All things people warned them about years ago. Enigma tried to tell them. Voodoo too. Who knows what they fuck they were too busy doing; masturbating to the idea of how much shit they were going to add that they failed to realize all of it took appropriate testing? I really don't know.

All the while since launch, Carbine doesn't give a shit. Lead devs jump ship immediately after launch because Carbine management is either imcompetent or NCSoft project managers are too controlling (can't really determine whose really at fault without employee testimony). Barely recognize anyone at the company now versus who was there for the press tours two weeks before.

I know I quit after 2 months.

To the diehard WildStar fans that have stuck it out since launch, it's not that you don't deserve a game to pour your passion into. It's that Carbine doesn't deserve fans like you.

To the nazi mods, thanks for deleting my thread. I guess it doesn't matter if you take away powers from that psychotic tranny (redundant, am I right?) if you employ your censorship all the same.
