I'm wine drunk, alone, and kind of sad. Naturally, I'm working on my "Wine drunk, alone, and kind of sad" playlist and I would love your suggestions.

I have a large list in my head but in the sake of avoiding alienating my suggestions I'll pick the less obscure options

Song-Artist Genre Tags Links Y(Youtube) S(Spotify) Notes/Description Pitchfork Album Rating (why not)
Random Rules - Silver Jews Indie Rock, Alt-Country, Lo-Fi Indie [Y] Great for listening to while drinking alone (or sans alcohol) Don't let the country tag turn you away, it's just folk with a beat
Hit The Ground Running - Smog Singer/Songwriter, Folk Rock, Slowcore, Indie Folk, Indie Rock [Y] [bonus Y] Similar to the one above, his voice is superb, very direct riffs, repeated over and over while Callahan's wry lyrics tantalize. The album this track comes off of (knock knock) is worth checking out. Some tracks are Krautrock, folk-rock, and some have VU-like rhythms N/A (different album same artist has 7.7
A More Perfect Union - Titus Andronicus Indie Rock, Lo-Fi Indie, Folk Punk, Punk Rock [Y] [S] A lot more energy than the previous two suggestions, it's punk but it's not punk trying to be punk, which makes it great. Fantastic lyrics that span the length of the 7+ minute tracks and the entire album, themed around the civil war, is absolutely astonishingly well produced. If you're feeling sad with a comorbid anger this is a fun album 8.7
Living Zoo - Built To Spill Indie Rock, Alternative Rock, Dub [Y] (this music video is ridicilous) [S] Fun track from upcoming Built to Spill album Untethered Moon (it took long enough). Personal favorite music group, if you want to here more of this band check out the album "There's Nothing Wrong With Love". Hopefully this track will cheer you up a bit Not Released Yet Upcoming Album Info on Pitchfork Their album "Keep It Like A Secret" was rated 9.3

My shift starts now (yeah, 5am saturday), I'll be back around 3pm est to finish this list, it's hardly even started yet :/
