I ran many marathon during my younger years. I always finished last . it's a total representation of my life choices. I never give up . I am never motivated to do a lot better. I just do what I can without regret.

I know you didn't mean it as such, but your statement made me think.

I guess if you compare yourself to all those other people that never finished, then finishing last all the time is great. It meant you had the perseverance to go through with it.

On the other hand, finishing last all the time is also indicative that you're not improving, which isn't really a good goal in life. If you finished at the bottom of every university class you take, that's probably not a great thing.
