IMO, Alappuzha has to be one of the worst districts in Kerala...

I recently watched a video where aleppey muncipality got an invitation or an international award for its waste managment or sth. It is one of the densely populated areas and one of the smallest districts in terms of land. half of aleppey is backwaters. we have restrictions for constructions in and around lakes. so investors would probably prefer somewhere in TN or other states which have comparitively less real estate value too. The labour cost here is too high too. Apart from that aleppey is one of the indian districts with highest number of foreign footfall and the percentage increases year by year. This is a foodpark inaugurated recently in cherthala or somewhere near by state govt. it directly employs 3000+ people and expects an increase in intake. https://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/city/kochi/kerala-cherthala-mega-sea-food-park-is-set-for-inauguration/articleshow/78937037.cmsnamde topography kk anusarich alle investments varullu. I would personally prefer coimbatore for a manufacturing company to operate. Less greenery affected. flat land. no hills to be demolished. less labour cost.
