Imperator: Rome Review - It Came, It Saw, It Faltered | PC Invasion

I think you're trying too hard to come up with puns and catchy one-liners. "Et tu, broski"? "Historical Similar-tion"? Really? It's a bit off-putting.

Anyway, I've only played a couple of hours so far, so I'll reserve judgment until I've played more, but from my experience so far, the review seems fair. What especially frustrated me was the insane whackamole with defeated armies. I just won a battle, they have 20% morale, and I re-engage only to lose as many troops as I kill, and they escape to fight another day. 4-5 times before a big stack is finally killed, even though I won every single battle we fought. Ugh.

That said, I'm definitely not ready to give up on the game already. I just started playing! But the hype deflated a bit.
