So, no yoke now, but does that dude have a point, or is he being a bitch?

Obviously this is a vidja game, and people can take it too seriously, but that can stem to both sides. A few people on this subreddit seem to demonstrate that they have a near unreasonable hatred for their spaceship game enemies and can really take things too far.

This isn't at all a constructive "discussion" we are having here, if anything, this is inciting troll messages towards those failfit users far more than it is any sort of actual "discussion" of how they should actually fit.

Obviously anybody can look at a 300 man KB fight and look at each failfit to joke about, but it's completely different to share specific individuals among a subreddit with 4k reading users for the sole purpose of derogatory insults about their shitty play-style.

At what point, for the mods, does it change from friendly jesting to going a little overboard? Shitting on anonymous line members that are clearly inexperienced in pvp and don't put themselves out at all seems to slowly be encroaching onto what seems poor taste.

Not saying we should be banning freedom of speech against failtards or anything, or even that this specific instance is even that bad, but I always sorta thought this community was fucking awful, so I'm probably biased and read everything in the worst possible light and I can.

Like, ya, "Grow up", "It's just a game", "Don't take things too seriously", "Get gud". I all completely agree with that, I even had a post in Mechwarrior Online a bit ago about people taking shit way too seriously...

But meanwhile I have to deal with a corp member with severe depression that would take shit like what is going on in this thread as a huge blow to his already minuscule sense of worth.

Now I can't tell if I'm being a bitch or not.
