Yes, some people mention things like taking out parts of Quran but that's ridiculous and would never be allowed. Maybe reinterpreting them and the Hadith in context to how life was in 7th century Arabia would help. It is unfortunately very violent. There is no way around it other than different interpretations. Few Christians and Jews take there books literally as it's impossible so maybe as time goes on it will settle down.

My best friend is Muslim and is in so much denial. Rarely do I bring it up. It's like insulting there mother, they react with insanity. They should just admit that in the wrong minds such texts can cause violence. But it's always flat out "that's not my religion" does my head in to hear such self deception.
