Italian protests over men cleared of rape because woman was 'too masculine'

I'm referring to the quote that made "rape is about violence and power" popular. Her name is Susan Brownmiller. The book is subjective, and studies show that it's mostly incorrect.

What I do know is that attractiveness is not a reason people rape.

"Not a reason" - did you mean "not the reason"? It most certainly is a reason, which is why I ask.

Are you telling me that if a man sees a pretty woman, he can't help but rape her? That's ridiculous.

Do you always make the most extreme examples of things?

but it still comes down to violence and dominance.

The act of rape is violent. Men who commit rape are exerting dominance. The motive for rape is mostly about sex, regardless of popular opinion or what a feminist said decades ago.

Consensual sex is also violent at times, even with normal couples. It also almost always has a dominating partner, usually the male. My point is that you shouldn't say things like "the end", when you don't even know the beginning of a topic. Nothing personal, just being real.
