Yeah people complain about that a lot but it isn't a big deal really. If you fit a proper sized scoop on it you can just jump nonstop. While a Cutter has about twice the range it is slower to refuel, so it is balanced out somewhat (talking engineered combat loadouts).

I love them both equally though. The Cutter came first, we had a great time together. I prefer the cockpit position of the Cutter. I always feel like i'm going to bang my forehead off the mailslot when flying a conda or vette. Once I got the vette and engineered it, it just superior to the Cutter for combat purposes. The shields of the Cutter are quite epic though, it shares this with the Courier. I load up with gold when I go hunting in a haz res to make everything come to me. I can't get my Corvette's shields strong enough to tank the entire rez site for any meaningful length of time. My Cutter on the other hand has no problems with this. One thing I very much dislike about the vette is you get mass locked. I am the one who locks when I fly the Cutter.
