I've reached a milestone! Painful acne has pretty much vanished... but I've still got blotchy/red patches of skin, some little bumps etc. Current routine in comments and some questions (if you can answer them).

As the title says, my painful acne has pretty much vanished. However, my skin is still blotchy, oily, and red in places (particularly where I used to have spots but they've now gone).

I'm trying to find a better sunscreen as I was using a Nivea for kids factor 50 but it was making me break out. I've been looking at a few La Roche Posay sunscreens but I'm open to suggestions for acne prone skin.

I'm also on the hunt for an exfoliator! I was looking at Paula's Choice BHA lotion exfoliant as I read BHA is good for acne prone skin. I'm hoping they ship to France, where I live.

Finally, I'm looking for something that will calm down the redness. You can't see it very well in the photo (sorry) but I have redness at the sides of my nose and on my forehead. My face is very pink.

Current routine is as follows:

Morning:
Wash with Avène Cleanance cleansing gel.
Then I apply Veo Zinco cream. This cream has pretty much saved my face. After just three days of using it, my skin was already less inflamed and painful (I could wash without wincing!). I would recommend it to anyone. Before I put my makeup on, I apply La Roche Posay Rosaliac UV Light - I haven't really noticed if this is doing anything for my face really. I thought it would help with the redness but it's pretty much the same.

Night routine: Wash and remove makeup using Avène Cleanance cleansing gel Apply Avène Cleanance Expert to any blemishes that I might have (I've had so much success with this stuff) and then apply Veo Zinco cream.

So... I'm looking for a sunscreen, an exfoliator, and something that will get rid of the red patches on my forehead and around my nose, as well as clear up the redness left from old blemishes. I understand if you can't suggest specific products. I'm also looking for advice on how to incorporate these things into my routine.

For example, when should I exfoliate and how often, considering my skin is very sensitive and acne prone?

I should also point out that I used to see a dermatologist in the UK but I've been unable to get to one yet in France. When in the UK, I took medication for my skin (oxytetracycline at first and then a stronger antibiotic) but this didn't help. I also used to use Differin, which also didn't help.

Any suggestions or feedback on my routine would be excellent. Thank you in advance!
