This is reddit. 99% of rape accusations are made up. Every real rape is very easy to prove because the victim is always instantly in a state of mind afterwards to promptly drive themselves to the hospital without cleaning the stink of their attacker off themselves so they could instead sit anxious and traumatized in an ER waiting room for an hour, waiting for the privilege of having a stranger inspect, document, and probe their recently violated body. A real victim would never forgo that experience to instead furiously scrub themselves in the shower or huddle in bed depressed and afraid to leave their apartment for days. Luckily any real victim probably also thought to set up some secret cameras or call a friend in advance to record the whole thing from the shadows- because rape doesn't usually happen after an attacker isolates a victim, often on the attacker's own turf, but instead with tons of potentially friendly witnesses around who will be more than happy to document the incident and testify later against the perpetrator.

If a criminal case ever can't proceed because of a lack of physical or witness evidence required in a judicial system that puts the level of proof at "beyond a reasonable doubt" that doesn't mean there is substantial doubt about what happened from either side- it means the "victim" made the whole thing up to try to cash in.

This is doubly true when the alleged perpetrator can afford lots of good lawyers, PIs to harass potential witnesses, and payoffs to settle out of court. All that does is cast further doubt on the "victim's" motivation because it proves the target has enough money to be a good target of a false rape accusation.
