I’m sympathetic towards your second point but I feel you’ve misrepresented me. I’m saying it wasn’t just English but Welsh and Scottish too. Why does vitriol get pointed at one?

If people said what they said about the ‘English’ did to Ireland and replaced it with British I would genuinely have no complaints and would agree.
