Pep Guardiola: 'Stick to coaching', fans tell Man City boss after he asks more supporters to attend games

Let me preface this by saying I don't mean any disrespect to real fans. I want to offer my analysis as an American viewer. City fans remind me of MLS fans (with a few exceptions). Every time I have been to an MLS game (or watched it on tv) you can see that the supporters don't have real passion. The chants they sing are not organic. It feels like someone was tasked to come up with chants. Because of that majority of the people in the stadium don't know what the words are. It's not that the stadiums are half full. It's that the fans that attend don't know how to be passionate. Supporters have to come to a team organically. I watched Renne vs Tottenham the other day, their stadium was half full but the supporters were loud.
