Dude, he said C is the only language that he feels like he can write clean code in and you babble on about how C++ is the most deceptive and difficult language youve ever used. Someone calls you out on it and you just dig your heels in even further. I'm not sure if I'm more disturbed by your myopic response or the support you've received from your comments. While C and C++ are both compiled, generically dumping C in with your conflated argument doesn't apply to C as well. While they are both difficult languages to master, I would argue the hardest part about C is understanding pointers and memory management which once you get used to can become fairly straightforward. So, while everything you say about C++ may be true, I can't help but feel like you're just being a jaded bully who's missing the point of a beginners experience which we all realize at some point as we get deeper in to a language... which is to say we realize we don't understand as much as we thought we did, but that usually becomes clear with more experience.
