Essentially what I'm trying to say is that it seems like Jessica Jones appeals to different personality types than Dare Devil, and they are mostly divided by those cognitive function preferences.

This, of course, is just a theory and not really scientific at all... just using my gut on it.

Feel free to ignore.

NF is shorthand for XNFX types:

• ENFP
• ENFJ
• INFP
• INFJ

NT would be short hand for XNTX types

• ENTP
• ENTJ
• INTP
• INTJ

To explain a bit of what I mean by these personality generalizations:

• NF means the primary two cognitive functions are Intuition and Feeling
• ST means the primary two cognitive functions are Sensing and Thinking
• NT means the primary two cognitive functions are Intuition and Thinking
• SF means the primary two cognitive functions are Sensing and Feeling

So what I'm saying is that these personality archetypes will mostly prefer Jessica Jones for the following suspected reasons:

• The whole mental and physical rape, the emotions it causes, the intense need to heal Jessica and the victims of Kilgrave.
  • ENFJ - The Givers
  • INFJ - The Protectors
  • ENFP - The Inspirers
  • INFP - The Idealists
• Film noir detective aspect of the whole thing with the struggle to do what's right (fight Kilgrave) versus the struggle to do what's safe (run from Kilgrave):
  • ISTJ - The Duty Fulfillers
  • ESTJ - The Guardians
  • ISTP - The Mechanics
  • ESTP - The Doers

And I suspect that these personality archetypes will mostly prefer Dare Devil for the following suspected reasons:

• Seeing the world through the "eyes" of both Daredevil and Kingpin, trying to put themselves in their place of power and responsibility while attempting to justify their often questionable actions:
  • ISFJ - The Nurturers
  • ESFJ - The Caregivers
  • ESFP - The Performers
  • ISFP - The Artists
• The constant flooding of ethical dilemmas that each episode seems to provide along with a respect for the focus, drive, rigor, and vision that both Daredevil and Kingpin must have to have obtained their skills and status:
  • ENTJ - The Executives
  • INTJ - The Scientists
  • ENTP - The Visionaries
  • INTP - The Thinkers

Again, bitchin' action scenes and awesome powers in a cool world means anyone could like either of these stories, but I've noticed a polarity that I think is actually divided down personality type in a pretty clear cut way.

Like I said, it's just a theory, I could be totally wrong.
