I think the fact that he kinda got bullied by Burgos' jab through round 2 spells bad things for him against Holloway (even the more conservative one we're seeing now) and Calvin Kattar. I'd pick Kattar to finish him if Emmett doesn't just murder him early.

I'd take Emmett over Ortega pretty confidently, I think. Ortega does have a good jab but he's defensively too bad to trust against a massive puncher, and Emmett seems to be a 5-round fighter too. Not sure about KZ, not a fan of him defensively at all but he might be able to figure out Emmett's bursts and counterpunch. Stephens did, after all.

I think Yair and Zabit just hanging out at range and kicking could annoy the hell out of Emmett, and Zabit jabs/left-hooks him up too, but if he starts entering off bodywork earlier in a fight, I might take him over Zabit because of that third-round issue for him. I feel like Yair would just be the dumbest tossup fight ever.

Emmett would be a bit dangerous for Volk early, maybe, since Volk has gotten hit to the body by everyone who's tried and his defense in the pocket is kinda his only real liability. But Emmett also seems way too solvable by just a jab for me to say Volk can lose that, I think it'll be a couple early scares but Volkanovski takes over hard.

So yeah, long story short (not really), he has winnables in the top 5, but there are also a lot of guys who kinda just need a bit of discipline to shut him out IMO. I don't expect him to get a belt either, but he's dangerous.
