A Journalist’s Plea On 10th Anniversary Of ‘The Passion Of The Christ’: Hollywood, Take Mel Gibson Off Your Blacklist

I am a Jew myself, so you turning my comment into some subtle and subconscious way of using a stereotype about manipulation in regards to Jews is laughable. Once again, you are attacking me and anyone who differs in their viewpoints personally, and using your claimed religion as a crutch in adding credibility to you holding that viewpoint.

Sure, you are free to perceive his statements however you want, as am I. However, I will speak up when you take the pretext of you being a Jew and use that to paint every offended person as just not getting or understanding anti-Semitism. It is just an ignorant and narrow-minded viewpoint.

Just because the guy is "equal" in his racism does not diminish the extent to which he is racist or anti-Semitic. Just because someone is drunk does not mean they do not hold the beliefs they are spewing; it had to come from somewhere. There is a clear difference between criticism and hatred, as you brought up with the irrelevant Israeli politics connection.

Your final paragraph being dismissive of any counterpoint to your original claim is genuinely immature, and shows a real lack of any effort to try and understand where others are coming from. I guess that is fine when you have already decided you are the moral authority on the issue.

Your own comments show that you are deeply confused. So let's just end this debate right now. There is nothing else you can offer that is worthy of consideration.

I am not trying to convince you of anything. I am simply saying that you are being close-minded to the counterpoint, and using your claimed religion as some sort of pre-text for everyone else being wrong.
