Jump Rope for Muay Thai gym?

I personally am a fan of thicker, heavier ropes like they use in Thailand. I prefer the swing rhythm due to the heft, I just don't like the way flimsy ropes move through the air. They also blast your shoulders and are great for cardio. The downside is the thickness doesn't really allow you to do fancy tricks like crossing your arms or the side-to-side stuff that boxers do, but footwork is fine. I've had this rope for like a year and half now and it's great:

Couple things to be aware of, I don't think the length of this specific rope is adjustable. However, I'm 5'11" and it's a perfect length for me, so would probably be fine for anyone +/- a couple inches. Also, if you've never jumped with a rope like this it will take some time to adjust to the weight. The first week or two felt like my arms were getting yanked around in circles, but your shoulders/arms will strengthen and it'll be fine after that. I comfortably use it now for 15+ mins without breaks. Finally, wear shoes, if it hits your toe barefoot you're gonna have a bad time! But you don't have to get a rope like this for MT if you don't want, any rope that fits your preferences will be fine.
