Also, I didn’t clarify this from the very start when I should have;

From a personal and moral perspective I really believe a child should have the chance to live if it’s been conceived. I believe it’s the parents personal responsibility to see that through, and aborting the child is an all too easy escape from the real consequences of your actions.

From a political and scientific standpoint, it’s not my choice or decision to make for other people. If a baby is viable and potentially conscious within the second trimester then we shouldn’t allow abortion at that point unless absolutely necessary, as that is literally murdering a baby. That’s as far as my political beliefs go on the situation, when it comes to law anyway.

If the fetus is neither conscious nor viable in the first or part of the second trimesters, it’s none of my business. I may morally disagree and think you’re avoiding personal responsibility and consequences of your actions, but it’s not my place to say whether or not you can make that decision and it really does become an argument of whether women have full bodily autonomy, which they should have (even if we disagree with the reasoning).
