Just got a rejection letter from a job I applied to 10 months ago. I don’t even remember applying to this place because I sent out so many applications back then. It’s just an insult at this point.

I used to work for them it was absolutely awful. You're right, Dawn is a dumb bitch. She was a pain in my ass - The 2gb of ram I left in her computer was just enough make it slow as shit when running office apps but still fast enough to be usable. I was never quite able to figure out why her computer was intermittently fucking up her day.

This place made me understand why workplace violence happens.

They were a legit mafia type operation. They were helping to move huge amounts of cash for the cartels.

They had a company branded armored truck they'd park at local events and fundraisers. They'd load it full of cash at the branch in Calexico, then drive up state hitting up county fairs and 4H bullshit while also dropping off bundles of cash at branches that were in on it along the way. A personal fundraiser disguised as a boring PR one. Pretty damn clever. Then they'd fudge the info inside the computer and then jerk each other off in spanish.

A branch employee eventually noticed and told the feds. They got hit with huge fines and spent the next 2-3 years blowing hundreds of millions trying to recover and get out from under the consent order. I started right after this happened and GTFO before they laid off 3/4 of whoever was dumb enough to stick around. Another equally stupid named bank bought them out - Mechanics Bank.

You dodged a bullet.
