This just happened on CNN. Behold, the hypocrisy of the media (especially in regards to coverage of mass shootings) in one, succinct 30 second clip… Seriously, WTF CNN?

This is coming for a foreigner guys, so please go easy on my stupid little uneducated opinion.

This whole movement of "not naming the perp so as to prevent him from gaining post-mortem infamy" seems... horribly silly. It's like everyone is just burrowing their heads in the sand, hoping that willful, widespread ignorance will somehow fix America's worst problems. Not looking at a house fire won't stop it. This guy wanted infamy? He got infamy and rightly so, I mean he just went full terrorist mode and killed a bunch of people, allegedly motivated by a religious agenda, all in hopes of getting favorable treatment after his death!

He ought to be known for a time and then forgotten, as are all things in the news. He did an awful act of terrorism. It happened. That's what the news should be doing: showing us the Who, What, Where, When and Why, then moving on to sports and weather.

America needs to seriously fix its problems. Schools should be teaching kids how to be good adults, seeing as parents aren't doing it worth shit. You can always rely on a spellcheck or a calculator, but basic human decency isn't found in any app. Also, the guns. Holy fuck. So. Many. Guns. Gun manufacturers should be taxed a special "massive societal cancer" tax per gun in civilian circulation. How could people not gun each other down with all those boom sticks lying around?

As for that Mintz guy... He ain't no hero. He's just the only decent human being around. Everyone should have done what he did. That doesn't make him a hero. It just says a lot about everyone else.

There, that's my 2 cents. My country doesn't experience these crazy ass shootings all that often, and every time it's always because a crazy cunt was off his meds. That may explain my... obviously counter-culture... opinion on the matter. Feel free to downvote it away.
