I was driving back late from Tennessee to Charleston S.C. was about 20yo and so very sleepy at like 2am. I remember seeing signs that I was getting close to Columbia and knew that I needed to change interstates soon. Next thing I know I am driving through downtown Columbia going about 60 in a 25. I stomp on the brakes and make the first right turn I can onto a one way street going the wrong way. Pull into a parking lot real quick and just say they’re trying to make sense of what just happened. Nearest I could figure, I drive while asleep for a couple miles, managed to take a left hand exit that entered the city and made it out alive. Not one scratch in the car either.
