Just a reminder: If you haven't heard of the site, Anime Recs is a wonderful place for finding out what to watch next!

RE: Hulu, I'm not a fan of Hulu due to the fact that even if you pay for it there are still unskippable ads. So, even if something's on Hulu, that's not an appealing option. I'd rather watch it somewhere else. So, with that said, some of the things I list might be on Hulu, but I don't think that matters.

Netflix: Would getting a list of what Netflix has off another site be a viable solution? For instance, there are sites like InstantWatcher that monitor what's on Netflix and maintain a database of what they have.

If so, I'll help ya find a good one. IW's database doesn't have everything categorized properly, so Attack on Titan doesn't show up in their anime section, which I can only assume would be annoying to work with. Most of the other stuff shows up though, but it would be better to have one that's 100%.

If that would be useful, I'll look around for one and compare it to what I see on Netflix.

Amazon:

  • Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex 1 & 2.
  • A Letter To Momo
  • Ghost Hound
  • Mezzo DSA
  • Kino's Journey
  • Orphen
  • Special A
  • Mythical Detective Loki Ragnarok
  • Legends of the Dark King (it's listed on Crunchyroll, but there aren't any videos for it)
  • Destiny of the Shrine Maiden
  • Hell Girl (season 1, specifically, which other sites don't have.)

and more, but I'm gonna stop there.

The Anime Network:

Sucks about the not HTTPS thing. D: They do have some stuff that's only available there though, like:

  • Grave of the Fireflies
  • The Garden of Words
  • 11eyes OVA (episode 13)
  • Flowers of Evil
  • Detroit Metal City
  • Nadia The Secret of Blue Water
  • Colorful
  • Indian Summer
  • Jewel Bem Hunter Lime
  • Orphen: Revenge
  • Penguindrum
  • Reideen
  • Sakura Wars (the series, Funimation only has the movie)

aaaand more.

Viewster: Yup, that's where I watched Kuuchuu Buranko! No one else has it, which sucks. It's a great show.

Youtube: The Manga Entertainment channel has stuff like:

The Anime Bancho channel has stuff like:

  • Turning Girls
  • numerous installments of the "peeping life" series.
  • KY Kei JC Kuukichan
  • Passionate Detective Agency, Hana No Zundamaru, and until recently they were the only place that had Inferno Cop.

There might be others and I'd be willing to look, but those are the two I know off-hand because I've actually watched stuff on those.

Anyway, this post has gotten kind of long, so I should probably stop, haha.
