People who make these "I'm totally a dem, but the babies..." comments probably didn't ever get pregnant and have $5 in their account and a pissed off boyfriend who punched them in the face when they found out. Or 8000 other situations that aren't readily imaginable but absolutely real, like mentally ill mothers, addicted mothers, sick fetuses, delicate health, or any of the things that the mother really doesn't need to call up "Mr/Mrs Well-Intended Anonymous Concerned Citizen Decider" about to ask permission to not endure 9 months of torture only to end up now solely responsible for themselves and an additional crying hungry person. Oh but adoption. Yeah right.
